Starting from August 1, 2025, Haikou Meilan International Airport (a subsidiary of Hainan Development Holdings Ltd.) will launch the "Free Trade Port Express Service Speed-Up" on Hainan Airlines flights between Haikou and Beijing Capital International Airport. The service cancels the check-in cut-off time for passengers with no checked baggage. Passengers can now complete security checks and reach the boarding gate as late as 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Passengers who need to check in luggage or have special service requirements are still required to complete check-in and baggage procedures 35 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Friendly Reminder: The "Free Trade Port Express Service Speed-Up" is currently only available for passengers traveling on Hainan Airlines flights between Haikou and Beijing (Capital Airport) who are not checking in luggage. It is important to note that arriving at the boarding gate 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time does not mean passengers only need to arrive 15 minutes before the flight. Non-checked baggage passengers still need to allocate time for security checks, collecting duty-free items, and walking to the boarding gate.
